Decision and Business Rule Management

Enterprise Decision Management (EDM) refers to the ability to use these tools where any automated business processes are required to be carried out. They refer to the management of complexity within processes and reflect the business policies as applied to people and the ability to change or modify data within the enterprise.

Deployment of these tools is in growth phase, as organisations realise that all their business processes require governance, risk management and control. These need to be managed in one area and be available for use and re-use across the enterprise.
